Pool Parties
Members wishing to book a pool party must make a reservation with the Pool Chair at least two weeks in advance. To schedule a party please include the following details:

Times and Dates
The party fee is $300 PLUS a lifeguard fee of $50 per guard, per hour. The lifeguard fee is required by the pool management company and is in addition to the regular lifeguard.

General Rules for Parties
- Parties may be scheduled for up to 25 people TOTAL and customer agrees to provide one adult chaperone for each ten (10) people.
- Parties are held over a maximum of three-hour slots and only one party per time slot is permitted.
- Parties are held during regular pool hours, which means facilities are shared with other paying pool members.

- Party guests may use the tables under the pavilion; please clear this area promptly at the end of your scheduled party time.
- Any grilling must be done outside the fenced pool area in the grass from the flow of foot traffic to and from the pool.
- Please take down any party decorations, put all trash in the trash containers, and clean up after your party.
- There is a regularly scheduled 15-minute guard break each hour when swimmers must be out of the water. Most parties use this time to eat or open presents.
- Only paid and current pool members can host a party.
Lifeguards & Swim Safety
- Our pool management company requires two weeks' advance notice to schedule guards and generally guard fees are non-refundable (even for poor weather).
- Our posted rules for pool use apply to parties too. Remember, absolutely no glass in or around the pool.
- Every pool party requires at least one additional lifeguard. Lifeguard fees are $50 per guard, per hour. This is in addition to the regular lifeguard on duty.
- For a party involving children, the party host must provide 1 parent/guardian (adult) for every 10 children under the age of 18.
Times and Dates
- All parties must take place during regular pool hours. The Summit Pool does not allow any after-hours parties.

- Note – the number of people includes the member, member’s family members, guests, and non-swimmers (example: a birthday party for a child with parents attending; parents, even if they don’t swim, count as part of the group if they are in the fenced pool area). Please don’t underestimate or the Pool company will not schedule enough guards, which could mean a last-minute cancellation of your party.
- All fees must be paid two weeks in advance of the scheduled party.
- Our pool management company requires two weeks' advance notice to schedule guards and generally guard fees are non-refundable (even for poor weather).
- Parties must end on time or extra lifeguard fees will apply.
- If a party is requested with less than seven days' notice, there will be a non-refundable $20 administration fee added to your total. Party requests given without at least two weeks' notice may not be able to be staffed.
- One additional lifeguard shall be required for any teenage event, college-age event, or any event involving alcoholic beverages.
- Customer agrees to provide one adult chaperone for each ten (10) people at a teenage or college-age event.
- The Company will not schedule lifeguards for any fraternity or sorority parties.
